Meeting between Ambassador of People’s Republic of China in the Kingdom of Cambodia Mr. Wang Wen Tian and the Chairman of G.C.Life Mr. Lao Chio Seng

On Friday 7th June 2019, Ambassador of the People’s Republic of China in the Kingdom of Cambodia, Mr. Wang Wen Tian met with the Chairman of Grand China Life Insurance Plc Mr. Lao Chio Seng and CEO Mr. Yu Li Qun in the Embassy of the People’s Republic of China in the Kingdom of Cambodia. Ambassador Wang asked about the Company’s development and mentioned the development of Sino-Cambodian relations. He said that Cambodia’s political situation is stable and its economy is developing rapidly. In April of this year, China and Cambodia have signed the China-Cambodia Community of Destiny Action Plan which covers 31 specific goals and initiatives in five major areas which will bring more opportunities and a better environment for the development of Chinese-funded enterprises in Cambodia. Ambassador Wang encouraged the Company to try its best and make greater contributions to Cambodia’s economic development and Sino-Cambodian friendship.

Today is a Traditional Chinese Festival “Dragon Boat Festival”, Chairman Mr. Lao and CEO Mr. Yu expressed their gratitude to Ambassador Wang for taking his time during this holiday to meet with them.
