Job Purpose
Underwriting Specialist will meet all the deadlines and requirements of individual/ team assignments and projects. Due to the nature of this job, the incumbent will play as a representative of company. S/he therefore must demonstrate high level of integrity, courtesy, self-discipline, and professionalism.
Roles & Responsibilities
- Underwriting new business and reinstatement of policies
- Conduct Tele-Underwriting
- Coordinate with panel hospitals/clinics/doctors on medical examinations/reports/enquiries
- Work with the Sales Team and provide all the necessary customer service support
- Provide medical consultation related to Claims
- Perform other duties as assigned by Line Manager
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree of medical doctor or related fields
- At least 3 years’ experience as an Underwriter in the Life Insurance industry
- Possess pleasant personality and good communication skills
- Self-motivated, willing to learn, proactive and attention to details
- Computer knowledge in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Proficiency in English and Khmer
